The Behavioral HealthTriage and Crisis team at Group Health Cooperative of South CentralWisconsin will rank among the most supportive and fun you willexperience over the course of your career. In this role, you will besupporting a close-knit team of 6 behavioral health providers whoprovide care to our members and patients experiencing behavioral healthcrises, seeking care following an ER or hospital stay, and in need ofshort-term behavioral health treatment. This role is a vital part of theteam's ability to provide high quality, timely access and care toGHCSCW members and patients. If you are looking to grow as aprofessional, develop your leadership qualities, and be embraced by anorganization that encourages creativity and ingenuity, then GHC-SCW isthe place for you Position Summary: The Behavioral Health Triage andCrisis (BHTC) Team Specialist participates as a member of the BehavioralHealth (BH) department under the daily supervision of the BHTCCoordinator with direction from the BHTC Triage Lead. The BHTC TeamSpecialist performs clinical, administrative and technical tasks thatcontribute to the smooth workflow and quality patient care experience inthe BH department. This position supports BHTC team by gathering andaccurately documenting information from members and making first-leveladministrative assessment of needs and eligibility for services;providing information regarding services, referrals and scheduling; andby coordinating intake and other appointments for members. The BHTC TeamSpecialist assists with initiating referral orders and withcommunication with internal and external providers, departments,services and agencies. The BHTC Team Specialist assists the BHTC teamand other BH department clinicians in the management and coordination ofpatient care, acts as a resource to the BH team, and participates indepartmental support functions.
