In this role, you will work closely witha multidisciplinary team of scientists and clinicians to develop andimplement cutting-edge research projects focused on understanding andaddressing the intricate immunologic processes that occur during organtransplantation. Applicants for this position will be considered for thefollowing titles Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor.The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of thefinalist. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at adesignated campus work location. This position has been identified as aposition of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selectedcandidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to beeligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every fouryears. Key Job Responsibilities: Teach medical students, residents, andfellows. Service and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship tojunior researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students,fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment. Coordinateand direct research conferences in the Division of Transplantation.Serve as research mentor to surgeon scientist research faculty withinthe Division of Transplantation. Mentorship activities will consist ofassistance with individual research programs in areas including but notlimited to experimental design, data analysis, and grant writing.
