Overview TRC is seeking a highly motivatedStaff Engineer/Geologist/Scientist for our growing Engineering &Remediation practice in Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This positionwould be part of an experienced team that works closely with ProjectManagers and other technical leads providing technical support for soil,groundwater, and vapor investigations, due diligence, groundwatermonitoring, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects. We arelooking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and personable individual with aneye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be part of agrowing and high performing team. Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.Responsibilities Support environmental assessment, investigation,remediation, and compliance related projects in the field and office.Perform a variety of field work including, but not limited to: On-sitereconnaissance of project sites, including active rights-of-way andmanufacturing facilities. Installation and sampling of soil borings,soil vapor probes, and groundwater monitoring wells. Scheduling andoversight of excavation, drilling, and construction subcontractors. Useof electronic records collection methods for field efforts. Prepare andreview technical reports, graphics, feasibility studies, work plans,design documents, and construction documents, including geologic andhydrogeologic interpretation from field investigations and sampling, tosummarize data, results, and remedial options. Perform data analysis andcalculations and assist in database development. Support management ofmedium-to-large, complex tasks to ensure internal and externalexpectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
