This position offers protected time for opportunities toengage in teaching, mentoring, and clinical research at a world-classuniversity. Current and incoming faculty enjoy a compensation packagethat is not based on wRVUs. UW Madison offers outstanding clinicalfacilities and laboratories offering a full range of Endocrinediagnostic procedures and comprehensive care including, but not limitedto, thyroid FNA, bone density scans (DXA), diabetes education program,state-of-the-art continuous glucose monitoring, inpatient DiabetesManagement Service (DMS) team, multidisciplinary pituitary clinics, andmultidisciplinary polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) clinics. Thisposition will provide patient care at Eastpark Medical Center and otherUniversity of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics approved locations as amember of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.Additionally, this position may have a presence at the William S.Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital when on inpatient endocrinologyservice. The responsibilities of this position will also includeclinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and otherappropriate services.
