JOB REQUIREMENTS: View all jobsSenior Quality InspectorMilwaukee, WI Manufacturing Global Power Components is a privately held, financiallysound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks,trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures forhousing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.Global Power Components is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector.This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong mechanicalaptitude and proven experience conducting comprehensive inspections onmechanical systems and integrated electrical equipment. Shift DetailsOpenings available on 1st and 2nd shift Key Responsibilities Performinspections on mechanical and electrical assemblies to ensure compliancewith internal and customer specifications. Ensure all qualitydocumentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained. Coordinatewith the Quality Control team to ensure progress and meet production andshipping timelines. Identify and escalate quality issues that may impactdelivery or product performance. Maintain visibility of product statusthroughout the QC and production process. Collaborate with Engineering,Production, and other departments to resolve issues and improveprocesses. Participate in corrective actions for non-conformances andrecurring defects. Support training efforts and ensure staff areinformed of current quality standards and procedures. Participate inaudits, process reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assistin updating SOPs, training materials, and inspection protocols asneeded. Daily Activity Breakdown 10% Part and component inspection 80%Assembly and final product inspection 10% Process Improvements, CA/PA,Data process/analysis/reporting, and cross-functional collaborationQualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control orinspection in a manufacturing environment. Experience in powergeneration, diesel systems, or enclosure manufacturing preferred. Weldknowledge is preferred, especially weld inspection Proficiency inblueprint reading, mechanical drawings, and customer-supplied manuals.The ability to read and interpret measurements using rulers, calipers,and other precision tools.
