Service Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Repairs, services and maintains enginedriven Generators and electric welding machines and ensures a safeworking environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned. - Replaces defective parts andcompletes preventative maintenance required. - Orders parts as requiredin order to complete repairs. - Inspects returned equipment for properoperation and/or damage by the customer. - Ensures clean and organizedwork environment at all times. - Prepares and completes paperwork forall machine repairs, - Occasionally required to service equipment andcustomers off-site. - Maintains communication with all branchpersonnel. - Occasionally advises customers regarding best equipment fortheir projects. - Performs troubleshooting of machines, calibrationson-site and off-site. - Knowledge of computers, welding process,equipment set-up, welding gases, welding wires - Perform other projectsand duties as assigned.
