JOB REQUIREMENTS: Global Power Components on 51st & Lincoln inMilwaukee, WI is seeking Experienced Quality Control Inspectors for itsLarge Enclosure Fabrication Facility. Desired Candidates have at least 1year of Quality Inspection experience, Good Mathematical Aptitude and agood eye for details. We have 1st & 2nd Shift Availability with flexibleschedules and available overtime. Hourly wage is competitive and isbased on experience. Global Power Components is a privately held,growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, largegenerator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housingfully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We haverecently moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. footfacility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to berecognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry. Due to continuedcompany growth, we are seeking a Entry Level or Skilled 1st or 2nd ShiftQuality Inspector for day-to-day inspection, documenting quality issuesper our process and presenting data in a statistical format. Thisemployee will receive extensive onsite job training the will lead togrowth within the company. The Quality Inspector will work under thesupervision of the Quality Manager. Breakdown of daily activities isgenerally as follows: 30% Part inspection (on manufacturing floor) 50%Enclosure/tank inspection (on manufacturing floor) 20% Processing andanalysis of data Candidates should be aware that the majority of timewill be spent on the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities: Theposition's main responsibility is inspection and documentation of partsand assemblies. Once the data is collected, it will be turned intoreports that would be used to develop training and/or processimprovement strategies. Secondary tasks could fill up all or part of abusiness day at times. These tasks could vary greatly in day-to-dayactivities. Examples could include discussing issues with engineers,calling vendors, updating SOP's, or addressing anything that is out ofthe ordinary or with which there is an issue. Requirements: Ability tofollow directions is extremely important and then to follow through in atimely, accurate manner Strong attention to detail is extremelyimportant Proficiency with MS Word and Excel (write reports in Word,create and use spreadsheets in Excel for analysis) Basic math skillsnecessary to include fractions...
