JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY EK is looking for a full-time Welder ready towork hard and build their welding experience with our team. We arelooking for a new Welder that can weld on a wide variety of metals andalloys, navigate blueprints and directions successfully, and who isready to take their welding skills to the next level. ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES Successfully read and understand blueprints,geometrical call outs, and weld symbols to meet or exceed clientexpectations. Using GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weldweldments, tanks, and metal parts together per the weld processspecification sheet. Performing welding on a wide variety of metals andalloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, andaluminum. Hand layouts of weldments with little to no supervision orassistance. Using fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded partsto customer specifications. Assist with creating work pleting the first piece, in process, and final inspections usingcalipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures. Pressuretesting fuel tanks and hydro testing glycol tanks. Analyzing weldprocesses and recommending process improvements. EDUCATION AND/OREXPERIENCE 1-2-year Technical Welding Degree and 1 to 2 years ofexperience in related welding industry (GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW)preferred, or 3 to 5 years of experience in related welding industry(GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW) MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract,multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals.
