Physicians in the UW Department of Ob/GynDivision of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery provide abroad range of basic and specialized medical and surgical servicesrelated to complex pelvic floor disorders: In partnership with the Chairof the Department, develop a comprehensive strategy and plan for growthand development of the divisions clinical, educational, and researchactivities. Provide leadership and oversight for physicians and advancepractice providers and ensure continued collaboration between providersand clinical sites. In partnership with the Chair of the Department andChief Administrative Officer, managing the administrative, finance,research, and clinical operations for the division. Develop thedivision's faculty with emphasis on clinical quality, professionaldevelopment and scholarship. Participate in the clinical servicesinitiatives of the UW Health System. Progress and develop new researchopportunities for the providers in the division. Provide a broadspectrum of distinctive obstetrics and gynecologic care and oversee thecontinuation and development of clinical niches and focus areas.Participate in the direct supervision and training of faculty, fellows,residents, and medical students. Collaborate with faculty colleaguesfrom urology, colorectal surgery, and GI medicine to advance the pelvicfloor disorders program. Clinical responsibilities include participatingin the care of patients at the UW Health and Meriter Hospitals.Responsibilities include management of complex pelvic floor disorders aswell as full-time call for urogynecology...
