As anultrasonographer, you will play a crucial role in obtaining diagnosticquality ultrasound images for interpretation by diagnostic imagingspecialists with the use of advanced ultrasound imaging technology.Provide clear documentation of sonographic findings in medical recordand with clinicians. Demonstrate excellent time management skills byefficiently managing a high volume ultrasound service and patientschedule. Your expertise will contribute to imaging veterinary patients,and you'll collaborate closely with our veterinarians and support staffto provide the highest standard of care. If you are passionate aboutproviding exceptional patient care and have the skills to excel as aultrasonographer in veterinary medicine, we invite you to join ourdedicated team and make a positive impact on the lives of animals andtheir owners. This is a 100% FTE/ 40 hours a week position. Theincumbent will have a flexible work schedule between the hours of8:00am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.Occasional on-call may be needed as required by the hospital. Exactschedule will be determined with the candidate upon hire.Key JobResponsibilities: Maintains accurate records and files in the section byutilizing the PACS and following other procedures pertaining to records(5%) Instruct and supervise professional veterinary studentsparticipating in core and elective clinical rotations in struct diagnostic medical sonography to residents and interns (5%)Operates ultrasound equipment and assists patients with ambulationduring procedures to ensure accurate data collection and to minimizingpatient exposure to high-amplitude sound waves (50%) Troubleshoots andreports equipment problems to supervisor (5%) Identifies and documentsany unexpected...
