This physician will have theability to develop a practice as a general hematologist/oncologist andmaintain a specialty area of interest, preferably breast oncology,within our community clinics. As Clinician Track faculty, the principalduty is direct patient care. This includes providing inpatient andoutpatient clinic attending services at UW Hospitals and Clinicslocations in Madison and at additional sites within the region.Responsibilities will also include providing clinical teaching ofmedical students, residents, and fellows, as well as clinical researchendeavors. This position is full or part time, 80%-100% This positionrequires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus worklocation. This position has been identified as a position of trust withaccess to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will berequired to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible foremployment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law every four years.Applicants for this position will be considered for the titles: ClinicalProfessor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor.The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of thefinalist.
