Thisgroup provides radiology services to Unity-Point Meriter Hospital; anon-profit 448-bed community hospital which provides a complete range ofmedical and surgical services. Additionally, the Community RadiologyDivision provides radiology services to the adjacent 1. S. Park Clinic,Eastpark Madison Clinic and several smaller community hospitals insouthwestern Wisconsin, both on-site and remotely. Despite itsuniversity affiliation, the division's daily workflow more closelyresembles that of a general community practice. In distinction to othercommunity practices, however, this position offers unique access to thebenefits of university affiliation and state employment. These includethe ability to pursue passions in collaborative research or medicaleducation, if desired. As a public employee, hired faculty member willparticipate in the Wisconsin Retirement System which includes pensionbenefits and malpractice coverage. This position also comes with acompetitive salary and generous retirement options. We have a singlePACS system which connects all campuses including the academicdepartment. Fully functional home workstations are also provided,allowing for remote work. Our practice emphasizes the ideals of theAmerican College of Radiology Imaging 3.0 initiative, and candidatesshould be willing to collaborate with our technologists and providersdaily. Occasional travel to outreach hospitals (optional driver serviceavailable) would be expected.
