Candidateswith an interest in these areas are considered: generalgastroenterology, disorders of the anorectum and pelvic floor and/orother aspects of clinical gastroenterology as practiced in a tertiarycare center. The successful candidate will provide patient care andengage in scholarly work, including teaching and research. We arerecruiting on all ranks, including Assistant, Associate and Professor.This position is full or part time, 80%-100% This position requires workto be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. Thisposition has been identified as a position of trust with access tovulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to passan initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under theWisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years. Applicants for thisposition will be considered for these titles: Clinical Professor,Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Assistant Professor.. Key JobResponsibilities: The successful candidate will provide direct patientcare at University Hospitals and Clinics, the William S. MiddletonVeteran's Affairs Hospital, UnityPoint Meriter Hospital and at UWHealth approved locations as well as outreach locations. The primaryclinical practice will include procedural, inpatient, and ambulatorycare, to include endoscopy procedures, as well as sub-specialty care ingastroenterology. The candidate will also be involved with teachingmedical students, residents and fellows. The successful candidate willparticipate in administrative and committee work to support the clinicaland scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine andPublic Health.
