As a result of our expansion, we arelooking for a Design Automation Engineer to join our growing team.Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Design AutomationEngineer to join our engineering team. This role is responsible fordeveloping, maintaining, and optimizing automated design processes usingSolidWorks, DriveWorks, and PDM. The ideal candidate will combine strongCAD skills with a passion for automation, data management, andefficiency improvements in product development workflows. KeyResponsibilities SolidWorks Design & Modeling Create and maintain 3D CADmodels, assemblies, and drawings that meet engineering and manufacturingstandards. Support new product development and existing productmodifications. DriveWorks Automation Develop and maintain automationrules, templates, and configurators within DriveWorks to streamlinerepetitive design tasks. Collaborate with engineers and sales teams tobuild product configurators that enable rapid customization. PDMAdministration Manage engineering data and documentation throughSolidWorks PDM. Ensure compliance with version control, workflowapprovals, and data integrity standards. Provide user support, training,and troubleshooting for PDM-related issues. Process OptimizationIdentify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce design cycletimes. Develop best practices, standards, and documentation for CAD andautomation processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering,manufacturing, and IT to align design automation with business needs.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency in SolidWorks (Certified SolidWorks Professional [CSWP] orhigher preferred).
