JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 nationalengineering/architecture consulting firm with a growing water/wastewaterpractice. As a result, we have a full-time position available for awater/wastewater project manager/engineer to join our team.Responsibilities include: Serving as the project manager for industrialand municipal water and wastewater projects Overseeing design as well asperforming technical design tasks Provide study/evaluation and designlead engineering services Mentoring and providing technical guidance toproject team and junior staff Ensuring quality control and qualityassurance reviews Aiding proposals and project development, includingscope and pricing Hydraulic and treatment analyses Serving as a clientmanager Travel will be required (10-20%) The successful candidate musthave all of the following: A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil,chemical, environmental or related engineering from an accreditedcollege or university AND at least four (4) years of relevant experienceThe ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:Project management (scope, schedule and budget) of projectsWater/Wastewater supply and treatment design experience including:Knowledge of wastewater treatment process design and technologies,including aerobi and anaerobic biological wastewater treatmentDeveloping plans and specifications Technology selection Aiding inconstruction and life cycle cost estimates PE license in any state withthe ability to obtain in additional states Industrial food and beveragewastewater treatment experience Experience with anaerobic treatment andbiogas systems Experience with project management across project phases:conceptual/preliminary design, detailed design, construction, andcommissioning phases Experience aiding in construction and life cyclecost estimates Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staffClient management for public and private entities Experiencecoordinating and managing multi-disciplinary teams Experience with EPC(Engineer, Procure, Construct) or design-build project delivery.
