Location:4900 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn OhioJOB SUMMARY:The Account and Documentation Services team supports Key Private Bank (KPB) and Institutional Advisors Services (IA) in coordinating the Onboarding of KPB and IA Trust Accounts which includes Document Prep, Know Your Client and Global Trust Account coding establishing new accounts as well as coordinating maintenance changes to account coding on the Global Plus Trust Accounting system. The team has responsibility to interpret governing trust, agreements and any additional documentation to code the account appropriately.The Operations Analyst ensures that all required documentation is complete to support client document preparation for trust accounts, account coding, and compliance requirements. This role involves understanding and addressing compliance implications while partnering with other teams to guarantee accurate account setup and coding in the Global Plus Trust Accounting system. The department is committed to delivering exceptional client service while mitigating organizational risk.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end of the Account Onboarding process including document prep, Know Your Client, account set up, maintenance, and audit.Responsible for opening trust accounts includes client document preparation, reporting on a quarterly rotation, and providing backup on assigning workflows as needed.Demonstrate an understanding of account coding requirements, including legal, tax and regulatory aspects, as well as possible variations and exceptions to coding based on various account types as it relates to new trust accounts or maintenance requests.Audit workflows of other department team members.Review and revise written procedures.Positively represent the team and the organization to Line of Business partners, as well as in client interactions. Assist in the development of positive relationships between the team and Line of Business partners by exhibiting professional manners daily.Meet performance objectives for accuracy and completion in accordance with Service Level Agreements by managing time and balancing workload effectively.Participate in and lead small department initiatives/projects.Perform other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and/or activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without ply with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or equivalent work experience.WORK EXPEREINCE:1 + years in financial services, operations, or trust accounting experienceExperience working in financial services operations, preferredWorking knowledge of Global Plus, Global Office, preferredIntermediate to advanced working knowledge of all MS Office programs, with emphasis on MS ExcelWorking knowledge of Salesforce, preferredPrior experience in reviewing and coding Trusts, preferredSKILLS:Ability to learn detailed processes quickly and function independently with limited supervisionStrong Critical ThinkingStrong work ethic with self-motivation & driveExcellent verbal and written communicationExperience and success in a team environmentResearch and problem-solve complex issues with limited supervisionExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh attention to detail and focusStrong peer leadership skillsDemonstrates ability to identify and implement process improvementsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to sit for extended periods.Use of PC, phone, copier, and other office equipment.TRAVEL/DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:Minimal travel may be required for
