The ideal candidate will have experience developing and deploying Generative AI solutions, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud-based software deployments. This role requires expertise in Python, deploying and supporting cloud-base solutions (Azure preferred), and ensuring production applications are scalable, reliable, and well-maintained.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions leveraging Generative AI and LLMsArchitect and implement scalable, cloud-based AI applications (Azure experience preferred)Build and optimize AI models using Python and modern ML frameworksEnsure reliable software deployment and support production environmentsDrive best practices in AI, cloud deployment, and solution architectureMonitor and troubleshoot production AI applications, ensuring high availability and performanceCollaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into software productsProvide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineersMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in CS, IT, Computer Engineer or related fieldMinimum eight (8) years of proven experience in software engineering, AI engineering, cloud engineering, or a similar roleExperience supporting and maintaining production AI applicationsSolid understanding of solution architecture, software deployment, and cloud infrastructureExperience deploying applications to cloud environments (Azure Preferred)Hands-on expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., CUDA, OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar)Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and partnersThis is a Hybrid role (3 days in the office) and will be based out of our Midwest Corporate HQ in Ann Arbor, MIBase Pay Range: $108,100.00 - $183,800.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLAKLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to:
