JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: Highlights: Committed safety cultureGreat work environment Industry leading, highly competitive compensationOutstanding benefits package Able to accrue 130 hours of paid time offannually Responsibilities: Adhere to Terex safety policies andprocedures Have ability to operate various types of welding machines onvarious materials: Short arc, stick, FCAW on X1050, T-1, etc Operatestationary and/or portable grinders and pneumatic chipping hammers toremove excess metal, oxidation and foreign matter from weldments andstructures Operate material handling equipment to move parts andmaterials, as needed Read and interpret blueprints. Capable of workingfrom drawings, sketches, templates, temporary stop gauging devices andpatterns, as well as set up jigs and fixtures. Access computer terminalsComply with TEREX Utilities quality standards through error preventionand by meeting such requirements with zero defects Follow and promoteThe Terex Way Values Compliance with all applicable occupational healthand safety required Perform other functions as needed BasicQualifications: High school diploma and/or equivalent experience 0-2years of manufacturing experience Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40-100lbs. with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided PreferredQualifications: Possess good mechanical aptitude Capable of using mosthand tools Understand and follow verbal and written instructionsRecognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions tominimize risks Ability to read and understand blueprints, orderacknowledgement, engineering drawings and written instruction Functionas a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining apositive attitude Ability to safely and efficiently operate weldingequipment, forklifts and overhead cranes Atmospheric exposure to dust,and vapors Certain personal protective equipment is required The salaryrange for this position is $22.50 to $23.75 per hour.
