WVRC Waukeshau00a0is looking for full-time Financial Coordinator to join our Emergency and Specialty Hospital This position requires a basic understanding of medical knowledge as explaining treatment plans to clients is fundamental to the job.u00a0The ideal candidate is comfortable with client service and has medical knowledge, a perfect position for a client service specialist working in general practice who is looking to work in a specialty environment. While experience is ideal, we will train the right candidate About the Job:u00a0u00a0We are looking for an energetic u201cpeople personu201d for our hospital to communicate financial updates to clients and create treatment plans.u00a0Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss financial obligations with clients, act as a client-pet advocate and update various doctors and technicians regarding clientu2019s financial situation and the clientu2019s goals for the petu2019s treatment.u00a0 Primary duties will include:u00a0 + Joining the health care team as the client's advocate for hospitalized patients.u00a0 + Entering all services into the hospital information system (client invoice).u00a0 + Preparing updated financial treatment plans and reviewing the financial portion of the doctor's recommendations with clients.u00a0u00a0 + Calculating and collecting additional deposits as necessaryu00a0 + Assist Client Care Specialists with processing payment balances due on check outu00a0 + Be a point person for insurance claim submission and applications for 3rd party lenders (care credit, etc).u00a0 + Involvement in the Accounts Receivable process.u00a0u00a0 Schedule: + 8a-5p + Mon-Wed and every other weekend to include 4 holidays per year Pay: + Starting at $18/hr pending Veterinary Medicine experience Benefits of working at WVRC: + Onsite Veterinary Social Worker available to employees & clients + Extensive training to all new (and existing) employees with our Learning & Development Trainers to advance their skills and careeru00a0 u00a0 + Referral Bonuses + Being a part of a team of elite professionals who prioritize the needs of their patients Qualifications and Experience: + Minimum of 1u00a0yearu00a0of customer service experience in a healthcare setting (veterinary experience preferred but not required) + Minimum of 1 year accounting experience + Ability to work in a collaborative environment + Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community + Excellent communication and organizational skills + Advocate for patient care + Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment Ethos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
