The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic team-oriented environment, focused on quality, client-focused outcomes consistent with the expectations of AECOM. Broadly, the role will include performing roadway design and modeling, plan production, traffic modeling & analysis, alternatives development in support of planning and corridor study assignments, business development (proposal development particularly technical approach); see representative responsibilities below. The candidate can expect to not only support local projects, but can also expect to work on exciting transportation projects across the greater west region of AECOM. The role will require high levels of communication, collaboration and interface with other disciplines for desired project outcomes. This is a hybrid role with physical presence at AECOM's 800 LaSalle Plaza, Minneapolis MN location. Engineering practice : + Performs specific and moderate portions of broader assignments under the direction of an experienced civil engineer. + Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. + Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Clearly documents calculations. + Accountably, transparently and independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works, as defined by project requirements. + Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position. Assumes a strong commitment to technical excellence as a developing civil engineering subject matter expert.
