The Litigation Paralegal will manage all aspects of large scale, complex litigation. The position will require over time and may involve some travel.Managing all phases of large scale complex litigation cases, arbitrations and investigations, including motion practice, discovery, trial and appellate phasesManaging and manipulating electronic and hard copy documents and files using Firm document management and litigation support systemsProducing electronic and hard copy documentsGathering and assembling documents for witness preparations and depositionsPreparing for and attending court trials and/or arbitrations and handling all duties associated with a trial such as: preparing witness binders, preparing and tracking exhibits, coordinating with trial consultants/vendors, scheduling court reporters, etc.Cite-checking and Blue-booking motions and briefsPreparing privilege logsFiling documents electronically with the courts through ECF and Texas approved e-filing vendorProficient inWestlaw/Lexis, PACER and RelativityTrains and mentors entry-level project assistants, as applicablePerforms other projects and tasks as requested by attorneys and ManagerPerforms other work-related duties, as may be assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the Duties and Responsibilities (Duties) above satisfactorily and meet the requirements below.
