Data Engineer

Description We are looking for a skilled and innovative Data Engineer to join our team in Grove City, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data pipelines, ensuring the seamless integration and accessibility of data across various systems. As a key player in our analytics and data infrastructure efforts, you will contribute to building a robust and scalable data ecosystem to support AI and machine learning initiatives. Responsibilities: u2022 Design and develop scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from multiple sources. u2022 Optimize data models to support analytics, forecasting, and AI/ML applications. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance data engineering capabilities. u2022 Implement and enforce data governance, security, and quality standards across hybrid cloud environments. u2022 Work closely with analytics and data science teams to ensure seamless data accessibility and integration. u2022 Develop and maintain data products and services to enable actionable insights. u2022 Troubleshoot and improve the performance of data workflows and storage systems. u2022 Align data systems across departments to create a unified and reliable data infrastructure. u2022 Support innovation by leveraging big data tools and frameworks such as Databricks and Spark. Requirements u2022 Demonstrated experience in designing and developing data pipelines and performing ETL processes. u2022 Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and big data tools like Apache Spark. u2022 Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including Azure Data Factory. u2022 Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing principles, and performance optimization. u2022 Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including legacy systems. u2022 Knowledge of big data frameworks such as Hadoop and Kafka is highly desirable. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and guide best practices. u2022 Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment focused on building new systems.
