Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, focusing on maintaining the integrity of accounting processes and providing valuable insights through financial analysis. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements, collaborate with multiple departments, and support various accounting functions critical to our organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform month-end closing procedures, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. u2022 Generate and review month-end financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Monitor and post daily production data while reconciling company credit card and cash accounts. u2022 Support inventory management processes, including cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliations. u2022 Collaborate with the Operations team to maintain accurate Bill of Materials for finished goods. u2022 Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely execution. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency. u2022 Provide analytical support for cost accounting activities and inventory assessments. u2022 Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial tasks as assigned. u2022 Utilize accounting software to streamline reporting and data management Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 8-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. u2022 Proficiency in accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial transactions. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications. u2022 Strong analytical abilities with a focus on inventory cost accounting. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments. u2022 Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently8-10 Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
