Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer._ Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. + Implement and monitor patient care plans. + Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. + Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. + Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. + Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. + Admit patients to NIC holding unit, performing assessments and completing required documentation per policy. + Educate patient and family members regarding scheduled procedures and surrounding events. + Follow established procedures for performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and cardio versions. + Thoroughly assess the patient and their history so that appropriate data can be acquired and appropriate testing can be performed. + Notify proceduralist of findings that warrant attention prior to the procedures. + Provide care to patients post procedure, implementing physician orders and readying patients for discharge or transfer to an impatient bed. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition
