Maintenance Technician

ABM/ABLE, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada BASIC FUNCTION In this role, you will assist the Engineering team with all activities concerned with the general operation and maintenance work of the mechanical, electrical and craft services and working team member within these functions. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Handles special work assignments and trouble calls. u2022 Adhere to quality levels and standard practices for all work performed. u2022 Learn and follow appropriate safety regulations. u2022 Conduct regular inspections, report findings and report to the Chief Engineer and/or PM. u2022 Perform any additional duties as directed by the Chief Engineer such as lighting, restroom, plumbing, equipment, etc. Overall responsibility for the following functions and tasks: Operation of: u2022 HVAC Systems (filters) u2022 Water Treatment Procedures (cooling tower cleaning) u2022 Electrical Equipment (lighting) Specifically, the Maintenance Technician will perform the following duties: u2022 Repair/replacement of lamps, ballasts, drivers. u2022 Repair/replacement of restroom and kitchen plumbing fixtures. u2022 Assist with mechanical preventative maintenance tasks. u2022 Work closely with landscaping/janitorial and assist when/where needed. u2022 Maintain a clean and safe work area(s). u2022 Identify best practices regarding MT duties and discuss with supervisor regularly. u2022 Maintain a clear line of written and verbal communication with Chief as well as PM We are looking for someone that can be available to start immediately and are actively interviewing for this role
