The courses taught may include video and audio production, motion graphics and animation, and computer graphics, using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator. u00a0Courses may be conducted in a variety of instructional modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and remote/online instruction.The Digital Media Arts program is currently undergoing a significant curriculum revision, including the launch of new and revised coursework beginning Fall 2026. u00a0As part of this transition, the department is seeking to expand its pool of qualified adjunct faculty to support new and evolving courses, particularly in Adobe CC Software.This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. u00a0Applicants must be available to teach daytime and evening hours as program needs arise. u00a0Adjunct faculty may teach no more than five (5) courses per academic year.Positions may begin as early as Fall Quarter 2026.At Clark College, we value equity, diversity, and inclusion. We are committed to growing, learning, and supporting our employees.u00a0GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIESu2022 Instruct classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.u2022 Participate in decision-making processes by taking part in department meetings.u2022 Keep current with digital media arts industry best practices and technical skills.u2022 Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques, including participation in Clark eLearning training courses.u2022 Work effectively with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.u2022 Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESu2022 Plan and teach courses in a student-centered manner, focusing on course- and program-level learning outcomes.u2022 Prepare a course syllabus including course requirements, attendance expectations, grading criteria, and appropriate college policies.u2022 Assess student performance promptly and regularly throughout the term.u2022 Communicate effectively with students via email and through Canvas.u2022 Attend at least three department and advisory meetings per academic year.u00a0MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIESu2022 Bachelor's degree or higher in Film, Video, Digital Media Arts, Multimedia, or a closely related fieldu00a0ORu00a0a Certificate or Associate Degree with ten (10) or more years of relevant industry experience will also be considered.u2022 Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.u2022 Teaching experience in a college or university environment.u2022 Experience in course development, including creating course objectives and assignments.u2022 Experience teaching in various modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, Zoom, and/or online instruction.u2022 Ability to work effectively as a member of a collaborative team.u2022 Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.Supplemental Information:SALARY STATEMENT:u00a0Lecture hourly rate is $93.18, and la
