This position is for 2nd shift (230p-11p) or 3rd shift (10:30p-7:00a).u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eWhat you'll need:u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eMonitors operation of plant equipment and systems.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eReviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eInitiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eChampion predictive and preventative maintenance programs.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eUse Proteus MMS for scheduling, analyzing supply chain and orders of parts.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eCoordinate with maintenance leadership as needed for the correct diagnosis and repair of machines.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eVisually inspect and test machinery and equipment.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eDismantle equipment to gain access to remove adjust or replace consumable components, or install new or repaired parts in defective machine and/or equipment.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eDiagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eOperate testing devices, welders, drill press, grinders, oxy fuel and propane torches, saws to maintain machines and equipment.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eInspect, clean, lubricate, and repair truck loading dock plates to maintain in operational order.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eReplace electric motor bearings and rewire motors.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eTest automated machinery and verify repairs.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eTest and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eInspect and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of facility equipment, including re-securing contact terminations.
