Hoboken, NJ- A dynamic, creative, and well-traveled family is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny/ household assistant hybrid for their bright, curious,and energetic 4-year-old. This role is best suited for a seasoned, confident nanny who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide consistency, warmth, and structure amidst a schedule that often shifts due to work demands and travel.Their child is currently enrolled in swim lessons, gymnastics, and other enriching activities, and continues to display an inquisitive nature and a vibrant personality. The family values social connection and is looking for a nanny who will help foster relationships with other local children and nannies.The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (or 11 AM to 8 PM), but flexibility is key. The nanny must be comfortable being away for up to two weeks at a time and able to maintain consistent routines and nurturing care in a variety of settings.Primary responsibilities include all aspects of the child’s care: preparing healthy meals, keeping spaces organized, transporting them to and from activities (using the family car), engaging in developmentally enriching play, and ensuring a sense of stability while traveling. Light household duties—such as running errands, child laundry, and occasional family meal prep—are also appreciated.The ideal candidate is reliable, nurturing, patient, proactive, and a strong communicator; someone who will become a trusted parenting partner and a steady presence in this little one's life. A second language is a bonus.Compensation is $40/hour on payroll, with benefits including paid holidays, two weeks of paid vacation (one week of your choosing, one week of the family’s), sick days, and a health insurance stipend with proof of coverage.
