Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator / Payroll Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic Long Island company. This role involves managing the weekly payroll for over 100 employees, including union and certified payroll processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Process weekly payroll for a workforce of over 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. u2022 Handle union payroll procedures, including adherence to specific regulations, requirements and reporting. u2022 Manage certified payroll reporting and maintain documentation for prevailing wage projects. u2022 Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Maintain detailed and organized payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes. u2022 Monitor and implement changes to payroll policies and procedures as needed. u2022 Prepare and submit payroll reports in a timely manner. u2022 Provide guidance on payroll matters to employees and management. u2022 Utilize inhouse payroll software to streamline and optimize payroll processes. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll administration, including full-cycle payroll. u2022 Proficiency in managing union payroll and familiarity with related regulations. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in certified payroll and prevailing wage documentation. u2022 Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws. u2022 Experience with in-house payroll systems and processes. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and management.
