Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role is integral to managing financial operations for our growing, multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about maintaining accurate financial reporting, compliance, and scalable accounting processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. u2022 Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. u2022 Handle multi-entity accounting, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and eliminations. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and maintain accurate records. u2022 Collaborate with auditors and assist with tax filings and regulatory requirements. u2022 Provide financial insights and analysis to leadership and FP& A teams to support decision-making. u2022 Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement automation solutions. u2022 Maintain robust internal controls and documentation to support organizational growth. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred. u2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or actively pursuing CPA certification. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or high-growth industries. u2022 Expertise in multi-entity accounting and consolidation processes. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards. u2022 Proficiency with accounting systems; experience with fintech or SaaS platforms is advantageous. u2022 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
