We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures. Performs all mammographic procedures. Observant of patientsu2019 conditions. Notifies physician or supervisor of unusual occurrence. Practices radiation safety as described in Federal standards, utilizing ALARA policy. Understands and operates electronic information systems, to includeeMAR, Meditech,and Pacs. Compilesappropriate recordstoexpediteresults. Assists with reception of patients and enters orders into electronic information system. Demonstrates ability to perform quality control functions daily inclusive of MQSA Quality Controlfunctions for mammography. Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of Mammographyand to meet the continuing education requirements of regulatory agencies and ARRT. Performs other procedures as assigned (stereotactic BX, needle locs, bone density studies) What qualifications you will need: EXPERIENCE Required: ARRT (R). Mammo registered within 1 year of hire. Preferred: One year experience as mammographer in a hospital environment. EDUCATION Required: Graduate of an accredited schoolof Radiologic Technology.
