Responsibilities The Department of Ophthalmology at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System is recruiting an Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in the subspecialty in glaucoma. This individual will be joining a young faculty that includes glaucoma, uveitis and surgical vitreoretinal subspecialties. The successful candidate should be able to perform a broad range of retina related office based ophthalmologic procedures and be able to provide a recent case list for review. Salary, benefits and academic rank determination are commensurate with qualification and experience. The Minneapolis VAHCS is one of the largest VA ophthalmology programs in the United States. Minneapolis is one the Midwest's finest cities and a center for recreation, education, entertainment and cultural excellence. Work Schedule: The tour of duty for this position is typically Monday - Friday, days. Additional information may be provided during the interview process. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
