This position would receive direction from the Chief Estimator and work closely with Estimators and Project Managers. RESPONSIBILITIES : u2022 Review and understand contract specifications, documents & drawings to perform takeoffu2019s accurately u2022 Perform plan measurements to develop and/or verify quantity estimates u2022 Research for and interface with vendors and subcontractors for proposals u2022 Perform data entry into and update material pricing in estimating software u2022 Update labor rates u2022 Stay apprised of industry standard software including researching and reviewing new technologies to expedite the takeoff process u2022 Communicate with Engineering Consultants and Designers to coordinate information digitally to complete takeoffu2019s u2022 Occasional project site visits and pre-bid meeting attendance u2022 Special projects as necessary u2022 Assist with other estimating duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree desired (Electrical / Mechanical Engineers, Construction Management, or related field); High School Diploma or equivalent required u2022 Prior experience in construction industry preferred _Fisk Electric builds extraordinary projects and we need exceptional talent.
