Entry Level Accountant

Description Duties & Responsibilities u25cf Support day to day operations in the finance department u25cf Maintain grant records and report on their activity u25cf Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately u25cf Create & manage accurate and up to date excel spreadsheets to ensure contract/grant compliance u25cf Prepare and submit monthly contract/grant reimbursements/vouchers to NYS DOL, NYS OCFS and other grantors u25cf Correspond with our NYS DOL Contract Manager, typically via email, with any requests regarding contract vouchers u25cf Reconcile bank accounts monthly u25cf Review and approve Travel & Expense Reports u25cf Review and approve GTM payroll reports u25cf Create payroll and TIAA bi-monthly spreadsheets and enter into the accounting system u25cf Reconcile monthly American Express Statements and enter into the accounting system u25cf Retain all archived files for Accounts Payable, payroll, grants and bank records u25cf Work with Grants Program Manager and communicate with regional staff as required u25cf Assist in preparing and processing year-end 1099 reports u25cf Ensure continued team success through training and development u25cf Ad hoc reporting and special projects u25cf Other duties as required Requirements Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Reconciliations, Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounting Entries Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
