The ACAA's Operations Supervisor - AGC will report to the General Aviation Duty Manager ensures that the conditions and safety of the airport is maintained in compliance and preparedness with local operational standards and regulations established by the Federal Government.u00a0u00a0Here is how the Operations Supervisor - AGC will help:u00a0u00a0u00a0- Conduct runway, taxiway, ramp and perimeter inspections with regard to maintaining a safe, efficient, and orderly operation in compliance with existing regulationsu00a0```{=html}```- Monitor weather conditions and forecasts, take all precautionary measures necessary to prevent dangerous or hazardous conditions that may prevail during inclement weather eventsu00a0```{=html}```- Coordinate the dissemination of notice to airmen (NOTAMs) and field condition reports (FICONs) via the FAA NOTAM Manageru00a0```{=html}```- Assist in supervising airfield activities and ensure compliance with airport and federal regulationsu00a0```{=html}```- Coordinate with FAA Air Traffic Control any activities affecting the air operations areau00a0```{=html}```- Respond to on-site emergencies and implement emergency/disaster procedures to minimize risk and damageu00a0```{=html}```- Maintain direct contact with upper-level management in the event of emergencies, unusual situations, or serious events that may occur requiring guidance or assistanceu00a0```{=html}```- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of the airport facility and report any issues to managementu00a0```{=html}```- Determine the need for closure/opening of the airfield or portion thereof for routine maintenance, snow removal operations, emergencies, and other operational needsu00a0```{=html}```- Provide periodic fee collection and utility meter reports to the Finance Departmentu00a0```{=html}```- Administer the airport access control and credentialing programu00a0```{=html}```- Monitor vehicle/pedestrian gate activity through closed-circuit television (CCTV) systemu00a0```{=html}```- Report, document, and/or resolve problems or incidents on airport propertyu00a0```{=html}```- Maintain a daily log of events and inspection reports for your assigned shiftu00a0```{=html}```- Performs other related tasks as assigned or requiredu00a0u00a0The successful candidate for the role of Operations Supervisor -AGC will demonstrate the following key competencies needed in our culture:u00a0- Communication - Listens to feedback; Provides clear direction to team; Communicates key Authority messages in a timely and clear manneru00a0```{=html}```- Strategic Thinking - Understands how team execution contributes to Department goals; Has insight to identify short-term risks to key goalsu00a0```{=html}```- Team Leadership - Fosters continuous improvement and open dialogue; Creates an environment for teamwork; Rewards excellence and coaches to improve underperformanceu00a0```{=html}```- Customer Centricity - Demonstrates deep understanding of customer needs; Prioritizes customer experience in each interactionu00a0Qualificationsu00a0Requirements to apply for role of Operations Supervisor - AGC are:u00a0- Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university in Aviation Management or related field; or Associate's degree and Two-Three (2-3) years related experienceu00a0```{=html}```- Possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid driver's license. Exposure to lights, noise, Aviation fuels and chemicals associated with aircraft, heavy equipment, snow and ice control. Works both inside and outside regardless of weather conditions. Regularly works near moving mechanical parts as well as aircraft. This position is assigned rotating shifts based on a 24-hour, 7 days a week work schedule, including holidays and may at times be the only management staff on the premises. Operations supervisors are subject to remain on duty beyond the scheduled shift and/or are required to report to work as needed for operational necessity.
