In this role, you will work independently and under the direction of a Regional Sales Manager to expand business within your defined multi-state territory. You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing prospects, and converting opportunities into substantial above-market growth.u00a0 The size of the territory and the need for face-to-face interactions (trust-building and surgery case support) means that this role involves frequent travel u2013 sometimes at short notice. Expect to be on the road up to 15 nights per month, with the occasional weekend or after-hours work thrown in.u00a0 WHAT YOU WILL DOu00a0 + Lead New Business Generation: Growth is the goal, and you will be at the forefront, leading complex sales activities with multiple decision-makers. This means generating leads, making sales calls, doing product demonstrations, identifying key decision-makers, securingu00a0contracts, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and product usage. + Launch New Accounts: As the representative of IJS products, you are proficient in our offerings, present during initial cases, and, with support from a Regional Product Specialist, onboard new accounts and their surgical teams. u00a0 + Manage Accounts: You will deliver high-quality training sessions for surgeons, nurses, and other hospital staff, guiding customers through the transition from onboarding to full independent use of the product. This can include working with distributors or independent reps to keep clinical activities running smoothly.u00a0 + Distribution Partners Support:Build strong relationships with our distribution partners. Youu2019ll hold quarterly strategy meetings and after-action reviews to make sure weu2019re all aligned and constantly improving.u00a0 + Stay Accountable: Keep the lines of communication open. Youu2019ll report back to the Regional Sales Manager and your peers on new business pipeline projections and utilization using our CRM tools.u00a0 + Drive Product Improvements: Collaborate with our Product Specialist team to incorporate customer feedback and identify new growth opportunities.u00a0 + Handle Inventory & Logistics: Make sure equipment and assets are where they need to be. This includes facilitating the delivery of trays and consumables to facilities and helping with system updates and setups.u00a0 WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?u00a0 + You meet (and exceed) your goals each and every quarter.u00a0 + The number of hospitals and systems using Intellijoint has increased.u00a0 + The creation of new territories is on the horizon due to your drive and the growth of your business.u00a0 + Surgeons, Nurses, and OR staff are trained and knowledgeable in the safe and effective use of our tech.u00a0u00a0 WHAT YOU WILL NEEDu00a0 + 3 - 5+ years of documented sales success in the medical device, medical technology, or orthopedics.u00a0 + Or 8+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding targets within a technical field.u00a0 + A solid understanding of anatomy is a big plusu00a0 TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSu00a0 + A valid driveru2019s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle.u00a0u00a0 + A passport for occasional travel between the U.S. and Canada.u00a0 + Travel within your territory is a key part of this role, and you should be prepared for regular travel as needed, with flexibility to manage your schedule.u00a0u00a0 + Be prepared to spend up to 15 nights per month away from home, with the potential for some weekend and after-hours work.
