GENERAL FUNCTION: The Equipment Finance u2013 Medical & IT Asset Valuation & Liquidation Analyst (Technology Finance Senior Product Analyst) is responsible for working with the Product Manager to direct and facilitate the shipping of off-lease equipment. The Technology Finance Product Senior Analyst position is part of our Equipment Financeu2019s Technology Finance team. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:u2022 Determine banku2019s future value risk by assigning future wholesale and/or residual values to equipment with direction from the Technology Finance Product Manager. u2022 Make purchasing/selling decisions that may impact bank profitability with partnership from the product manager team. u2022 In conjunction with the product manager team, research and identify markets, various products, and merchandising opportunitiesu2022 Work with the Technology Finance Product Manager to set up products and manage products and promotions.u2022 Identify correct equipment specifications to properly arrange and contract for freight shipments on the banku2019s behalf. u2022 Coordinate freight purchase order processing with clients. u2022 Arrange and monitor freight shipments with clients and sales team. u2022 Work with customers and submit quotes for freight requests with special attention on split freight u2022 Submit freight purchase orders along with the rebilling of freight invoices and damage assessments.u2022 Responsible for maintaining real-time inventory and shipping schedule. u2022 Capture data and organize monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of sales and current sitting inventory per asset category. Provide analysis and recommendations bases off report resultsu2022 Communicate with customers to resolve open issues. u2022 Work directly with vendorsu2022 Provide support to the identification, education and onboarding of our more complex vendorsu2022 Negotiate with vendors on cost, volume, incentives, rebates, advertising, and other applicable allowancesu2022 Pull vendor invoices and lease documentation from files to confirm proper equipment descriptionu2022 Resolve issues such as missing or incomplete returned assetsu2022 Evaluate current processes, identify and implement improved document and recording mediums (Shipping Forms, Inventory Reports).u2022 Update personal knowledge by participating in industry related educational opportunities, with a goal of providing input to aid in the research and identify markets, various products, and merchandising opportunities.u2022 Responsible for training and mentoring more junior Technology Finance Product Analysts.u2022 Various projects and other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:u2022 Bachelor's degree required. Prefer degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting)u2022 3+ years of experience in any combination of a) pre-owned IT or medical equipment market, b) equipment finance, or c) liquidation of moderate levels of remote inventory.u2022 5+ years of in person or telephonic interaction with clients in any capacity where they are solving customer issues or negotiating favorable outcomes. u2022 Excellent organizational skills that allow the ability to effectively prioritize workload and multi-tasku2022 Excellent attention to detailu2022 Must have excellent oral and written communication skillsu2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excelu2022 Self-motivatedu2022 Must be persistent and resourcefulu2022 Must possess a strong work ethicu2022 Works well with team members WORKING CONDITIONS:u2022 Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.u2022 Extended time at desk and/or viewing computer screen.
