Senior .NET/C# Software Developer

In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nationu2019s security and intelligence mission. INSCOM executes mission command of operational intelligence forces; conducts worldwide multidiscipline and all source intelligence operations; delivers advanced skills training, linguist support, specialized quick reaction capabilities, intelligence related logistics, and communications in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition command and the National Intelligence Community. You will be part of a team that provides comprehensive automation/information technology support to the Data Capabilities Division (DCD) worldwide intelligence dissemination, data management, and knowledge management missions. Work Schedule: u2022 Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day, Core hours: 0900-1500 Essential Responsibilities: u2022 Provide application development for a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment (u201cincluding, but not limited to MS.NET, C#, MVC 4+, and Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server web development knowledge) for custom in- house developed web applications. u2022 Collaborate with peers to review code to ensure that best practices, team norms, and coding standards are followed. u2022 Provide web development and version control for a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment using Government provided tools (Microsoft Visual Studio and GitLab). u2022 Estimate the level of effort required for all design, development, deployment, and testing and provide information to COR. u2022 Participate in an iterative development team through all facets of to include sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, reviews, and retrospectives. u2022 Develop documentation to include test plans, end-user documentation, wireframes, mockups, Use Case Diagrams, and flowcharts. All documentation shall be stored in identified Government document repositories. u2022 Use Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or GitLab for all code changes and version controls. u2022 Create/update test plans and record the results within the developer documentation. u2022 Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to mitigate all findings identified during testing. u2022 Build fully deployable packages for development, staging, integration, and production environments and submit deployment requests for approval. u2022 Use all approved Government provided templates for required documentation and ensure all development related documents are stored in a single document repository, identified by the Government. u2022 Leverage advanced programming skills to develop and incorporate mandatory fields of the DNI Audit.XML specification in accordance with ICS-500-27 Collection and Sharing of Audit Data. u2022 Adhere to software development methods including Agile, SCRUM, and Lean in the development of software. u2022 Provide project status reports to the Government at all stages of the project lifecycle as required. u2022 Utilize JIRA to record and report bugs to Quality Assurance, project managers, and other stakeholders. u2022 Ensure SOPs, u201cHow Tou201d guides, testing plans, and accreditation paperwork are complete for each application. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): u2022 Ten years of experience in .NET Development (including .NET, C#, MVC 4+, and Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server web development). u2022 Eight years of experience in SQL database development stored procedures u2022 Experience developing and re-architecting applications for containerization. u2022 Five years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC) u2022 Five years of experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, u2022 Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experience u2022 Five years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures. u2022 Five years of experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers and project managers u2022 Experience developing applications in classified environments u2022 Experience migrating and adapting applications for the Cloud. u2022 Experience with data integrations between systems and across networks. u2022 Experience with ETL processing of data especially data transformations. u2022 Experience with XML and JSON data formats. u2022 Experience troubleshooting and debugging applications in test and production environments.
