About the role As an Associate Director, you will make an impact by driving revenue growth through RGM (Revenue Growth Management) and TPM (Trade Promotion Management) technology solutions for clients in the CPG and Retail industry. You will be a valued member of the CPG & Retail Consulting team and work collaboratively with client partners, cross-functional teams, and clients. In this role, you will: u2022 Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market and business development strategy to expand RGM and TPM offerings in the CPG and Retail industry. u2022 Drive sales and revenue growth by acquiring new clients and growing existing client relationships focused on RGM and TPM solutions. u2022 Lead strategic prospecting and pipeline development by identifying and engaging potential clients through value-based selling and strategic outreach. u2022 Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the sales cycle stages. u2022 Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and position consulting solutions effectively. u2022 Lead client discovery meetings, workshops, RFP responses, and proactive proposal development and oral presentations. u2022 Lead and manage consulting projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality RGM and TPM solutions that meet client objectives. u2022 Leverage industry expertise and domain knowledge to refine and extend consulting capabilities and offerings. u2022 Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities. u2022 Author thought leadership insights, publications, and industry presentations and represent the company at industry panels and forums. u2022 Meet or exceed sales targets through strategic account planning and execution. u2022 Consistently demonstrate the Cognizant Way to Lead, which means operating with Personal Leadership (building trust, collaboration, and inclusion), Organizational Leadership (driving vision and purpose, demonstrating a strategic and enterprise mindset, and creating and communicating a bold direction that inspires purpose), and Business Leadership (exemplifying client focus, managing ambiguity with accountability and results, and operating with financial acumen). What you must have to be considered u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in business, Engineering, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred). u2022 10+ years of sales experience in the CPG and Retail industry with experience in pricing or trade promotion SaaS applications. u2022 Proven experience engaging with VP+ and C-level executives, demonstrating an ability to navigate complex decision-making processes. u2022 Deep domain expertise in pricing, trade promotion management strategy, process, and technology solutions in the CPG and Retail industry. u2022 Robust network of contacts and presence in professional organizations and industry forums. u2022 Embodiment of the Cognizant Way to Lead: Leading Self, Leading Others, & Leading the Business. u2022 The embodiment of Cognizantu2019s Values of: Work as One, Dare to Innovate, Raise the Bar, Do The Right Thing, & Own It.
