Job Description: Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is the largest providerof behavioral health services in Western Massachusetts and was recentlyrecognized by The Boston Globe as the 10th best employer inMassachusetts. As an MCI Counselor in our Mobile Crisis Intervention(MCI) program, you will provide resources and connections to better meettheir needs. The MCI Counselor will deliver short-term (72-hour)follow-up/case management to ensure successful connections. Schedule:Friday 11PM-7:30AM and Saturday 11PM-7:30AM (overnights) Pay: $23.44(Plus shift differntial outside of CBHC hours) What You'll Do: As aMobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) Counselor, you will provide highquality community-based and mobile care to all individuals by providingresources and connections to better meet their needs along withfollow-up case management. Key Responsibilities: De-escalate and supportcallers to determine current needs. Manage incoming crisis calls anddocumentation. Collaborate and facilitate consultation with internal andexternal service providers and other team members to determineindividual's needs. Assist in training of new staff and interns.Navigates individuals through the process of getting connected to theservices identified by the MCI crisis clinician and making theappropriate referral Act as the primary point of contact for allindividuals served who have accessed crisis services, ensuringindividuals are being followed throughout the process to resources andservices within BHN and the community.
