A private, growing family of three (soon to be four) living in Pacific Heights, California, is seeking a top-notch career nanny to join their team. The role is Monday through Friday, 40 to 45 hours per week. The family has a 3-year-old and a baby on the way.The role will be primarily child-focused; however, as the child ages and nap and school times change, some assistance with organizing and daily tidying would be appreciated. Other duties will include:Creating a warm, nurturing environment while maintaining appropriate boundaries for an active and bright toddlerHelping with the transition of the new baby into the householdPlanning and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities and educational experiences; someone who can really educate and be focused on child's development and upcoming milestonesResearching and coordinating local adventures and outings for enrichmentProviding transportation to activities (excellent driving skills required)Walking to playgrounds and setting up play datesCoordinating schedules, managing appointmentsMeal preparation for the child and help with any bottles or formula for the infantChild laundryChild-related organizing and restocking of itemsProactive and energeticIndependent, not needing constant directionTeam player mentalityNo task too big/small mentality, willing to help out where needed- help unload dishwasher, take out trash, etc.Background in childhood education or education is a plus.The ability to speak Spanish or Mandarin is a plusThe candidate must drive and have a safe and reliable carThe family is only considering candidates who live in areas that do not require the Bay Bridge as a daily commute routeYou must have infant and toddler experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as a team with the parentsCurrent CPR/First Aid certificationTrustLine registered, or willing to registerLegal to work in the USHourly rate DOE and ranges from $45-$65 per hour.The family offers full benefits for a successful career-oriented candidate.Benefits include PTO, health care, a 401 (k) plan, and a phone stipend.
