Position Summary: The APS Senior Portfolio Director u2013 Advanced Manufacturing & Semiconductors serves as the executive operational leader overseeing ABMu2019s semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing portfolio. This leader drives performance across critical facilitiesu2014integrating mechanical, electrical, and process utilitiesu2014with a focus on yield reliability, cost optimization, and speed-to-market. Reporting to the APS Industrial Group leadership, this role partners closely with clientsu2019 operations and manufacturing leaders to deliver world-class facility uptime, operational excellence, and scalable smart factory programs. The position carries full P&L accountability and leads a matrixed team of account directors and site leaders across multiple fabs and advanced packaging or R&D environments. The ideal candidate for this role will preferably be located in Austin, TX or Northern CA. Pay: $200,000 - $250,000 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicantu2019s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Staff & Management (Date 9.5.24.pdf) Key Responsibilities u00b7 Lead APS operations for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing clientsu2014ensuring delivery of uptime, yield, and performance metrics aligned to fab or production targets. u00b7 Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cleanroom operations, facility engineering, utilities, and manufacturing support systems. u00b7 Oversee $80M+ portfolio with full P&L responsibility, optimizing margin performance, CAPEX utilization, and lifecycle cost. u00b7 Partner with client manufacturing, engineering, and EH&S teams to develop joint technology roadmaps aligned to next-node and advanced packaging readiness. u00b7 Implement APS standardized systems, leveraging data analytics, CMMS, BMS, and AI/IoT platforms to drive predictive maintenance and energy optimization. u00b7 Mentor and develop account and site leaders to build an agile, high-performance operations culture focused on safety, quality, and execution velocity. u00b7 Champion Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma practices to improve yield support, tool uptime, and ramp performance. u00b7 Actively engage in client strategic planning, due diligence, and expansion opportunities across fab sites, R&D centers, and advanced packaging facilities. u00b7 Serve as the subject matter expert on semiconductor operations and clean manufacturing infrastructure within ABMu2019s enterprise platform team. u00b7 Support new business development through operational design input, client presentations, and APS program demonstrations. Qualifications u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Masteru2019s preferred). u00b7 15+ yearsu2019 experience leading operations or facilities management in semiconductor, electronics, or other precision manufacturing industries. u00b7 Proven success driving multi-site operations, global teams, and large-scale transformation or turnaround initiatives. u00b7 Deep understanding of fab operations, cleanroom systems, and critical utilities (CDA, UPW, WWT, HVAC, power). u00b7 Demonstrated expertise in Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or Industry 4.0 applications to facility and production environments. u00b7 Experience managing $100M+ P&L with focus on cost optimization, yield support, and operational scalability. u00b7 Strong business acumen with ability to engage client executives, align strategic objectives, and deliver measurable outcomes. u00b7 Skilled in CMMS, BAS/BMS, and manufacturing analytics platforms; familiarity with IoT, digital twins, and smart factory systems a plus. u00b7 Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
