Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Seneca Falls, New York. This position is ideal for someone with strong financial management skills and a passion for organization. The role involves overseeing bookkeeping operations for a seasonal resort, managing payroll, and assisting with administrative and HR tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). u2022 Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy for financial records. u2022 Prepare and post journal entries to maintain organized accounting data. u2022 Handle payroll processing for approximately 25 employees. u2022 Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting. u2022 Provide support for HR functions, including administrative tasks related to employee management. u2022 Collaborate on organizational changes, such as merging park operations. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to manage financial data efficiently. u2022 Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures. u2022 Support other company divisions during the resortu2019s off-season with financial tasks. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. u2022 Associateu2019s degree in accounting or related field; higher education is preferred. u2022 Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and v-lookups. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to manage payroll and HR-related administrative tasks. u2022 Experience with month-end procedures and general bookkeeping. u2022 Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams. u2022 Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
