We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications As an Echo Technologist, you will provide echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients. You will also prepare patients for exams, monitors progress and records results. Responsibilities: + You will maintain, compile, calculate and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving + You will complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate period + You will maintain education and development appropriate for position What qualifications you will need: + Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography + Registry required eligible from The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) (new hires must beCardiac Sonographer registered within 90 days of employment) + BLS + One to three years of experience + Basic computer skills, ultrasound equipment and probes HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is a 215 bed acute care hospital.
