Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will manage key financial processes and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach, with a background in accounting within the construction or manufacturing industries. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Issue bi-weekly payments to subcontractors and maintain vendor accounts. u2022 Set up new vendors and subcontractors by collecting and organizing necessary documentation, such as W-9s, COIs, and contracts. u2022 Assist in tracking job costs and coding expenses appropriately to specific projects. u2022 Process and reconcile invoices, credit card transactions, and receipts to maintain accurate records. u2022 Prepare and distribute customer invoices and progress billings. u2022 Provide support for payroll processing and timesheet reviews as needed. u2022 Maintain well-organized digital and physical accounting records. u2022 Contribute to month-end closing activities and assist in generating financial reports. u2022 Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to address billing and payment inquiries. The pay range for this position is $32/hour to $37/hr + bonus.
