Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join a leading private equity firm in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing strategic financial plans and providing critical insights to support executive decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across various business units and contribute to the company's long-term goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop comprehensive financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and multi-year projections, to guide business strategy. u2022 Partner with the compensation and corporate finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making. u2022 Prepare journal entries to align the companyu2019s tax basis P& L with the management basis P& L. u2022 Perform detailed financial analyses and respond to ad hoc requests from senior leadership. u2022 Provide financial support and insights to capital markets business units, working closely with their finance teams. u2022 Analyze real-time and anticipated changes in the business to refine long-term strategic plans. u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date management basis profit and loss statements. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting. u2022 Assist in identifying opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies. u2022 Support the development of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders. Requirements + Bachelor degree with good academics, MBA MSF a + + 5-10+ FP& A role. Budgets, plans, forecasts, projects, acctg adjustments + At least some exp managing / mentoring. + Business unit FP& A type experience is helpful. + Ideal Tools: Excel, Anaplan, PowerBI, Tableau + Open on industry but something similar is helpful.
