This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.Our Principal Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) will drive supply chain management solutions and projects across the Blue Origin network. You will be responsible for delivering the projects and programs for the Inventory management strategy at Blue Origin, ensuring End to End storage systems are planned, and implemented ahead of schedule and with exceptional quality.Key candidate attributes to facilitate success in this role include influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving specifically in an Aerospace Industry Direct Environment. Passion for our mission and vision is requiredResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee the monitoring of critical business-wide metrics and coordinate cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness.Lead the development and execution of long-term inventory & capacity planning strategies to support growth.Implement advanced supply chain modeling techniques for inventory optimization and cost reduction.Utilize data-driven insights to drive efficiency and cost reduction in supply chain operations.Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems.Establish and monitor performance metrics for supply chain management.Maintain optimal inventory levels to support operations.Coordinate and resolve company-wide risks and obstacles to align schedules with customer needs.Report key supplier progress to senior leadership in operational initiatives.Direct production readiness assessments for New Product Introduction and rate increases with business-wide impact.Qualifications:10 years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience.Experience as a people manager; encouraging and in support of performance management activities, goal setting, career counseling, compensation planning, and employee training and /or talent development while managing employees and employee relations issues within varying levels of the Organization.Must have a thorough knowledge and experience in inventory management systems and warehouse management systems including tools for inventory health.Track record of managing complex supply chain inventory movements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate complex ideas, anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view.Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines with engineering, design, and project management counterparts to deliver online products/servicesExcellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up
