McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85007. 602-763-31885 temporary full-time Carnival Workers from 4/1/26 - 11/4/26.Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreationfacility. Sell and collect tickets/fees, assist patrons; erect, takedown, operate/attend amusement booths and maintain equipment; rides andgames; make change; sell and serve food. Aid patrons entering or exitingamusement rides. Maintain inventories of equipment, storing/retrievingitems and assembling/disassembling equipment as necessary. Monitoractivities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures. Prepareand baked food such as cookies, corn dogs, french/curly fries, twinkies,snickers and cheesecake, cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cakes, prepareturkey legs for the smoker and serve ice cream. Set up - stock/clean andready for service, tear down - pack up stock and close down booth, heavylifting and physically mobile, operate amusement rides, games andconcession booths. Food and drink orders will be taken, sold, and servedto customers at a concession stand window. Regarding the foodpreparation functions: Prepare simple daily food items andbeverages-typical carnival foods such as prepare and bake food such ascookies, corn dogs, french/curly fries, twinkies, snickers andcheesecake, cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cakes, prepare turkey legs forthe smoker and serve ice cream, following specific methods that usuallyrequire short preparation time. Using proper safety precautions andsanitary measures operate large volume cooking equipment, such asgrills, deep-fat fryers, griddles, poppers, smokers, soft serve machine,or hot plates. Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking usingknives or slicers. Regarding set up-stock/clean?tear down pack up stockand close down booth of food concessions and attend and maintainequipment functions: Following simple specified instructions: Setup-Stock the booth with food items and equipment according to a providedcheck list. Using basic cleaning supplies such as Dawn, Windex, Mr.Clean, sanitizer tablets and following proper safety precautions andsanitary measures ensure all items are cleaned and stored in a specifiedsafe manner for transportation. Setup and take down tools include:ladder, hammers, screw drivers. All required tools are provided. Attendand Maintain equipment by following simple specified directions.Hours, schedule and days vary - Sample shift time: 10am-7pm, 1-hourunpaid break; 35 - 40hrs./wk., extra hours may be required or available,may include weekends and holidays. Work needs (i.e., hours, days,schedule, location, and work positions) vary. Work needs subject toindustry practice and are not guaranteed per day, per week, perschedule, per location, or per worker, e.g., rainouts, brief periodswithout scheduled events, event dates and hours set by agreement withsponsor and subject to change (based upon adverse weather, hours ofoperation, day of the week, attendance, size of the event, schoolschedules, amount of equipment in operation, staffing, etc.), andunforeseen cancellations. In the event of approved, overlapping events,work needs may cause workers to be adjusted.Pay varies based on location of each worksite, $14.34 - $20.54 anhour. No overtime is expected, but if work necessitating OT occurs, itwill be paid in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Locallaws.Pay received weekly, single workweek used for computing wages. Employerreserves the option to provide additional compensation for performanceand tenure or may increase wages based on changes in market conditions.No education or experience required.Travel required and provided to work in Maricopa and Pima Counties, AZ;Los Angeles, San Diego, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, and OrangeCounties, CA; Dallas County, TX; Pierce County, WA; Clark County, NV.Travel provided to all events as per itinerary. Must commute from homeat prior worksite to next worksite. Optional transportation to worksitesprovided at no cost to the worker. Work is performed outside in allweather.Employer reserves the option to provide additional compensation forperformance/tenure or may increase wages based on changes in marketconditions. No education or experience required. Pay received weekly,single workweek used for computing wages.Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies andequipment required to perform job.
