About the role As a Lead SDET in Test Automation , you will make an impact by designing and implementing scalable test automation solutions across web, middleware, and database technologies. You will be a valued member of our Quality Engineering team, collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will: u00b7 Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers to deliver robust testing solutions. u00b7 Design, build, and enhance test automation frameworks for UI, web services, and mobile applications. u00b7 Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation into DevOps workflows. u00b7 Develop engineering metrics and root cause analysis reports to improve quality and efficiency. u00b7 Drive client solutions and proposals while ensuring alignment with best practices. Based on this roleu2019s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte - NC . What you need to have to be considered u00b7 12+ years of QA and test automation experience across web, middleware, and database technologies. u00b7 Minimum 5+ years of programming experience in Java, with foundational knowledge of Java-Spring concepts. u00b7 Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and test management tools like Rally, ALM, Jira. u00b7 Proven ability to implement new automation solutions and frameworks. u00b7 Strong understanding of DevOps culture and continuous integration/testing practices. These will help you stand out u00b7 Experience in mobile automation and complex framework implementation. u00b7 Ability to build engineering metrics and perform root cause analysis. u00b7 Expertise in driving client proposals and delivering innovative automation solutions. u00b7 Knowledge of JavaScript and advanced scripting for automation.
