Shive-Hattery's Madison, WI office has an immediateopening for a full-time Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 4+years of engineering experience. Lead a diverse range of stormwater,drainage, conservation, and infrastructure projects. This role includesdesign, client contact, business development, mentoring and thefollowing responsibilities: Lead design and prepare constructiondrawings and specifications for a wide variety of stormwater projectsincluding: stormsewer, water quality BMPs, channel design, detentionbasins, lake restoration, dredging, earthen dams, stream stabilization,floodplain analysis, constructed wetlands, conservation practices,stream restoration, and mitigation bank establishment. Developstormwater hydrology and hydraulic analyses for evaluation and designPrepare stormwater reports and studies Prepare construction costestimates Lead internal and external project meetings Take projects fromconcept to bid-ready documents Complete construction administration andobservation services Lead construction permitting with Federal, Stateand Local regulatory agencies Assist with scope, schedule, and feedevelopment with project management support Collaborate with clients andregulatory agencies Participate in business development activities andlocal conferences Requirements Education: Bachelor's (B.S.) ormaster's degree (M.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering or relatedengineering field from an accredited four-year or graduate engineeringuniversity Experience: Four or more years of similar technicalexperience with no less than one-year of experience in projectleadership License/Certification: Registered Professional Engineercapable of registering in states within Shive-Hattery's geographicalfootprint AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus Experience with hydrologyand hydraulic software such as SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSTORM,Pondpack, and/or Infoworks ICM, etc. Experience with detailed plans andspecifications for stormwater projects Strong verbal, computer, timemanagement, and organizational...
